Massys Cornelis (b. 1508 - a. 1580)
Netherlandish painter and copper engraver. Born probably before 1508 in Antwerp, where he also died after 1580. Son of the painter Quentin Massys the Elder. In 1531 he entered the painters' guild in his home town. His extant works date from 1538-1560. They are mainly landscapes showing affinity to works of Joachim Patinier.
